Sabiepark NATURE RESERVE

DESCRIPTION

This is a hidden gem in the middle of the South African bush.  Surrounded by huge rocks, boulders and a beautifully established indigenous garden.

The main house which has 2 ensuite bedrooms, fully open plan with 2 lounges, a dining area and a large fully equipped kitchen.

The outbuildings include a rondavel with 2 bedrooms ensuite and the second rondavel has a pub with a TV, toilet & shower. There is also a storage area in the roof area.  Behind the rondavel is a sizeable storeroom.

At the back of the house is an outside veranda with a skottel braai, and a lovely view of the back garden.

A beautiful boma enclosed with wooden laths, a built-in braai and firepit, where one can enjoy the winter evenings with a fire and the visits by the nagapies,  not forgetting the night sounds of the African bush.

Resident mongooses rummage through the whole garden, feasting on whatever the grass area provides.

Brick paved walkways lead you to a private picnic area next to the stream at the bottom of the property amongst the beautiful trees.

A double carport is located at the bottom of the driveway.

Solar panels have been installed allowing for permanent electricity.

The entire property has been certified gas & lightning compliant.

All bedrooms are equipped with fixed mosquito nets and blinds.

Before arrival we contact the office of Sabiepark and the rooms are made up, and all the furniture uncovered and cleaned.  When we leave we drop the linen at the onsite laundry and it gets delivered back ready for the next visit.

We have the house and garden area serviced once as week which keeps the property in good condition.

The special thing about Sabiepark is that one can walk through the entire estate and see the resident game on foot, of which is plentiful.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for a small piece of heaven in the bush, which we have enjoyed for 30 years!
