Eagles by habit perch on tree branches overlooking the water. Once spotting fish, they swoop down to catch them with their pours and then carried back to the perch. African fish eagles also eat birds, monkeys, and even crocodile hatchling. These efficient predators can get away with spending as little as 10 minutes a day hunting.

Animal species in Sabie Park are; Kudu, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Bushbuck. Duiker, Impala, Warthogs, Baboon and Zebra. Plus many other small antelope species native to Africa. Sabie Park for safety reasons is fenced in by an electrified fence. Due to this safety measure, carnivore’s such as Lion, Leopard, are prevented from entering. They and rarely seen. Visitors as a norm are not discouraged from walking around Sabiepark. Yet, they should be aware, of the dangers that might exist.
